(1) An electronic money issuer or a payment service provider to which paragraph (2) applies must, if requested by its supervisory authority, appoint a person to act as a central contact point in the United Kingdom for its supervisory authority on any issue relating to the prevention of money laundering or terrorist financing.
(2) This paragraph applies to any electronic money issuer or payment service provider which -
(a) is established in the United Kingdom otherwise than by a branch; and
(b) has its head office in an EEA state other than the United Kingdom.
