(1) On the establishment day there shall stand established a committee to be known as the National Treasury Management Agency Advisory Committee, and in this Act referred to as "the Committee" to assist and advise the Agency in relation to such matters as are referred to it for that purpose by the Agency and to perform the functions assigned to it by section 6(3).
(1A) The Agency may refer matters relating to the functions delegated to, or conferred on, it by or under Part 2 of the National Treasury Management Agency (Amendment) Act, 2000, to the Committee only if authorised by guidelines under section 4(4) to do so and in accordance with any such guidelines.
(2) The provisions of the Second Schedule shall have effect with respect to the Committee.
