18. Restriction on alteration of memorandum or articles of association.

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Companies Acts, 1963 to 1990, an alteration in the memorandum of association or articles of association of the company or of a subsidiary shall not be valid or effectual unless made with the prior approval of the Minister given with the consent of the Minister for Finance.
