(1) The Minister may, on the application or with the consent of any undertaking, issue a direction in writing that specified provisions of these Regulations shall not apply to the undertaking or shall apply to it with such modifications as may be specified in the direction.
(2) A direction may be subject to conditions.
(3) A direction may be revoked at any time by the Minister and the Minister may at any time vary the direction on the application or with the consent of the undertaking to which it applies.
(4) A direction shall, subject to paragraph (3), apply for such period of time as shall be stated in the direction.
