(1) This Act (other than sections 85 and 86) shall come into operation on such day or days as the Minister may appoint by order or orders either generally or with reference to any particular purpose or provision and different days may be so appointed for different purposes or different provisions.
(2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), an order or orders under that subsection may appoint different days for the coming into operation of section 31 so as to effect the repeal provided by that section of an enactment specified in it on different days for different purposes.
