The European Parliament Elections Act 1997 is amended by the insertion of the following section after section 11:
"11A. Forfeiture of office order under Criminal Justice (Corruption Offences) Act 2018
If while a person is a member of the European Parliament an order for the forfeiture of the office of the person as such a member under subsection (4)(b) of section 17 of the Criminal Justice (Corruption Offences) Act 2018 takes effect under subsection (6) of that section, he or she shall thereupon cease to be such a member.".
