Regulation 2 Interpretation

(1) In these Regulations, except where the context otherwise requires -

"Act of 2010" means the Credit Institutions (Stabilisation) Act of 2010 (No. 36 of 2010);

"administrative authority" means - (a) in relation to the State - (i) the Bank, (ii) the Minister for Finance, in relation to - (I) the exercise of the powers and functions of that Minister under the Act of 2010, or (II) the making of an order under section 33(1) of the Central Bank Act 1971 (No. 24 of 1971) that is expressed as set out in section 33(4) of that Act or the making of the Special Liquidation Order, the issuing of instructions or the giving of directions by that Minister to a special liquidator pursuant to the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Act 2013 (No. _ of 2013), (iii) an administrator, (iv) a liquidator, or (v) a special liquidator appointed under section 7 of the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Act 2013, and (b) in relation to another Member State, the competent authority (w
