(1) If a liquidator has been appointed in respect of an authorised institution, the liquidator shall announce the decision to wind up the institution by arranging for an extract from the relevant winding-up order to be published -
(a) in the Official Journal of the European Union, and
(b) in at least 2 national newspapers in each of the Member States in which a branch of the institution is located.
(2) The publication must be in the English language and in the official language of each Member State in which a branch of the institution is located.
(3) The obligation imposed by this Regulation is in addition to any other obligation imposed by a law of the State to publish a winding-up decision.
