Any person who, immediately before commencement, was an underwriting agent within the meaning of section 2(1) of Lloyd's Act 1982 [1982 c. 14.] is to be treated as having, at commencement, a Part IV permission to carry on any regulated activities which immediately before commencement he was permitted under that Act to carry on.
