(1) This Order may be cited as the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) Order 2009.

(2) This Order comes into force -

(a) other than for the purposes of enabling applications to be made for a Part 4A permission, or a variation of a Part 4A permission, in relation to activities of the kind specified by articles 25E, 53D or 63J or, so far as relevant to any such activity, article 64 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001 [S.I. 2001/544 amended by S.I. 2003/1474 and S.I. 2006; there are other amending instruments but none is relevant.] on 1st July 2009; and

(b) for the purposes of enabling applications to be made for a Part 4A permission, or a variation of a Part 4A permission, in relation to activities of the kind specified by articles 25E, 53D or 63J or, so far as relevant to any such activity, article 64 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001, on 30th June 2010.
