242. Effect of means on certain rates of assistance.

Notwithstanding the provisions of this Act, in the case of a person who is in receipt of any assistance under Part III and whose means exceed a prescribed amount, the Minister may by regulations, where the amount payable is not a multiple of £2, increase such amount to the next multiple of £2 in respect of such class of person or classes of persons as may be prescribed.
