289. Payments under attachment of earnings order.

Any payments made to a District Court clerk under an attachment of earnings order shall, when transmitted by him to the competent authority entitled to receive those payments, be deemed to be payments made by the liable relative so as to discharge any sums payable under the relevant antecedent order.
