292. Regulations varying rates of benefit or assistance.
(1) Notwithstanding anything in this Act the Minister may by regulations increase temporarily or vary all or any of the rates of benefit.
(2) Regulations under subsection (1) shall not so vary the rate of any benefit as to reduce the amount of the rate payable at the commencement of the regulations.
