17. Attendance of chief executive before other Oireachtas Committees.

The chief executive shall, whenever required to do so by -

(a) a committee appointed by either House of the Oireachtas, the business of which committee includes examination of policy relating to consumer protection and welfare, or

(b) a committee appointed jointly by both Houses of the Oireachtas, the business of which committee includes examination of such policy, attend before such committee to discuss the general activities of the Agency.
