31. Disclosure of information relating to offences.

(1) Notwithstanding any other law, information which, in the opinion of -

(a) the Competition Authority,

(b) a member of the Garda Síochána,

(c) the Director of Corporate Enforcement,

(d) an officer of the Revenue Commissioners,

(e) the Central Bank of Ireland, or

(f) such other person as may be prescribed after consultation by the Minister with any other Minister of the Government appearing to the Minister to be concerned, may relate to the commission of an offence under any of the relevant statutory provisions may be disclosed by the body or other person referred to in any of paragraphs (a) to (f) to the Agency, a member of the Agency or a member of staff of the Agency or an authorised officer.

(2) Notwithstanding section 32, information, which in the opinion of the chief executive may relate to the commission of an offence which is not an offence under the relevant statutory provisions, may be disclosed to -

(a) the Competition Authority,

(b) a member of the Garda Síochána,
