38. Transfer of functions of Attorney General to Authority.

(1) All functions relating to charitable organisations or charitable trusts (or otherwise relating to charities) that, immediately before the establishment day, were vested in the Attorney General are transferred to the Authority, and references in any enactment in so far as it relates to charitable organisations or charitable trusts (or otherwise relates to charities) shall be construed as references to the Authority.

(2) This section shall come into operation on the establishment day.
