Regulation 50 Granting of authorisation

(1) The Bank shall only grant authorisation to a branch of a third-country firm that has established or intends to establish a branch in the State if it is satisfied that -

(a) the conditions specified in Regulation 48 are fulfilled, and

(b) the branch of the third country firm will be able to comply with the provisions referred to in paragraphs (2) and (6).

(2) The branch of the third-country firm authorised in accordance with paragraph (1) shall comply with the requirements of Regulations 23 to 27, 30 to 33, 35 and 36(1) and 38 to 40 and of Articles 3 to 26 of Regulation (EU) No 600/2014, and the measures adopted pursuant thereto, and shall be subject to the supervision of the Bank.
