(1) A liquidator shall be described by the style of "the liquidator" (or, in the case of a provisional liquidator, "the provisional liquidator") of the particular company in respect of which he or she is appointed and not by his or her individual name.
(2) Subject to section 621, the acts of a liquidator shall be valid notwithstanding any defects that may afterwards be discovered in his or her appointment or qualification.
