(1) The liquidator shall, within 14 days after his appointment, deliver to the registrar of companies for registration a notice of his appointment and the registrar shall forward a copy to the Director.
(2) If the liquidator fails to comply with the requirements of this section, he shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine not exceeding £1,500.
