(a) In the definition of “authorisation” in subarticle (1) (as amended by Article 3 of the European Communities (Non-Life Insurance) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1991), delete “by the Minister”; |

(b) in subarticle (1), insert the following definition after the definition of “authorisation”: |

|
|
“ ‘Bank’ means the Central Bank and Financial Services Authority of Ireland;”; |
|
|
|
(c) in subarticle (1), delete the definition of “the Minister”. |

In sub-article (1), substitute “Bank” for “Minister”. |
