Regulation 20 Meaning of "consumer"

For the purposes of Part 26 of the Act, as applied by regulation 19, section 425A of the Act [Inserted by paragraph 32 of Schedule 2 to the Financial Services Act 2010 (c. 28) and amended by S.I. 2013/655 and S.I.2018/135.] (consumers: regulated activities etc. carried on by authorised persons) applies as if, in subsection (3), after paragraph (a) there were inserted -

"(ab) a credit rating agency, registered under Chapter 1 of Title 3 of Regulation (EC) No 1060/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 September 2009 on credit rating agencies, carrying out a credit rating activity (within the meaning of Article 3.1 of that Regulation);".
