(1) Subject to paragraph (2), nothing in this Part affects the operation of any other law giving effect to an Act of the European Communities that imposes additional requirements in relation to the giving of prior information.
(2) If both this Part and the European Communities (Distance Marketing of Consumer Financial Services) Regulations 2004 (S.I. No. 853 of 2004) apply in relation to a payment transaction or framework contract, the requirements of Regulation 6 of those Regulations (to the extent that that Regulation requires the supply of the information specified in points (a) to (i), (p), (q) and (t) to (w) of Schedule 1 to those Regulations) are superseded by the requirements of -
(a) in a case to which Chapter 2 applies, Regulations 47 and 48, or
(b) in a case to which Chapter 3 applies, Regulations 52 and 53.
