Regulation 45 Designation of competent authorities.

(1) The Bank is the competent authority in the State for the purposes of the Directive and any Regulation of the Commission supplementing or issued pursuant to the Directive.

(2) The Bank shall establish the appropriate methods to monitor that each AIFM complies with its obligations under these Regulations, where relevant on the basis of guidelines developed by ESMA.
