Where goods covered by a commercial guarantee provided to a hirer are subsequently acquired by another hirer within the duration of the guarantee period, that other hirer shall be entitled to rely on the commercial guarantee against -
(a) the guarantor under section 73T, or
(b) the owner under section 73U(1) and (2),
as if he or she were the hirer to whom the guarantee was provided.
