(1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Non-Life Insurance) Framework Regulations, 1994, and shall come into operation on the 8th day of December, 1994. However, the provisions of these Regulations affecting the annual returns to be made to the Bank in accordance with Article 13 (11) of these Regulations shall apply in respect of every financial year beginning on or after the 1st day of January, 1995.
(2) These Regulations and the Insurance Acts, 1909 to 1990, Regulations relating to insurance business made under those Acts and Regulations made under the European Communities Act, 1972, may be cited together as the Insurance Acts and Regulations and shall be construed together as one.
