Regulation 8 Notification of conditions and documents.

(1) Nothing in these Regulations shall prevent the introduction by the Bank of regulations or administrative provisions concerning the approval of the memorandum and articles of association of an insurance undertaking and communication of documents necessary for the normal exercise of supervision.

(2) Notwithstanding sub-article (1) of this Article, the Bank shall not require the prior approval or systematic notification of general and special policy conditions, scales of premiums, forms and other printed documents which an insurance undertaking intends to use in its dealings with policyholders. The Bank may, however, require notification of such general and special policy conditions, scales of premiums, forms and other aforementioned printed documents.

(3) The Bank may retain or introduce prior notification or approval of proposed increases in premium rates where such notification or approval is operated as part of a general price control system.
