Regulation 14 Obligations of supplier when distance contract is cancelled

(1) If a distance contract for the supply of a financial service is cancelled in accordance with this Part, the supplier under the contract shall refund all money paid by or on behalf of the consumer under or in relation to the contract, less any charge imposed in accordance with Regulation 15.

(2) The reference in paragraph (1) to money paid on behalf of the consumer includes money paid on the consumer's behalf by a creditor (other than the supplier), under a personal credit agreement with the consumer. For the purposes of this paragraph, a personal credit agreement is an agreement between the consumer and another person by which the other person provides the consumer with credit for an amount of money.

(3) The supplier shall make the refund as soon as practicable (and in any case not later than 30 days) after being given notice of cancellation of a distance contract for the supply of a financial service. For the purposes of this paragraph, the period of 30 days begins on the day on w
