A person who is found guilty of an offence under these Regulations is liable on summary conviction - (a) if a natural person, to a fine not exceeding €3,000 or to imprisonment for a term of not more than 12 months, or to both, or (b) if not a natural person, to a fine not exceeding €5,000.
