Regulation 32 Co-operation between competent authorities of the State and competent authorities of other Member States

(1) A competent authority of the State may enter into an arrangement with a competent authority of another Member State for the performance by the authority of that other Member State of functions imposed on, and the exercise of powers conferred on, the competent authority of the State by these Regulations. A function performed by a competent authority of another Member State under an arrangement entered into under this paragraph with a competent authority of the State is, for the purposes of these Regulations, taken to have been performed by that competent authority.

(2) A competent authority of the State may also enter into arrangements with a competent authority of another Member State for the performance by it of functions imposed, and the exercise of powers conferred, on the competent authority of the other State by a law of that State corresponding to these Regulations.

(3) A competent authority of the State may, on being asked to do so by a competent authority of another Member
