The Communications Regulation (Postal Services) Act 2011 is amended -
(a) in section 65A(1), by -
(i) the deletion of the definition of "Act of 1988",
(ii) the insertion of the following definition:
"'Data Protection Regulation' means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 [OJ No. L 119, 4.5.2016, p.1] on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);",
(iii) the substitution of the following definition for the definition of "personal data":
"'personal data' means personal data within the meaning of the Data Protection Regulation;",
and
(iv) the substitution of the following definition for the definition of "processing":
"'processing' means processing within the meaning of the Data Protection Regulation;",
