156. Cyclists holding on to other vehicles.

(1) It shall not be lawful for a person on a bicycle or a tricycle in a public place to take or retain hold of any other vehicle (other than a pedal bicycle on which no person is riding) which is in motion or of any person or thing on, in, or attached to any such vehicle without the consent of the rider or driver of such other vehicle.

(2) Every person who takes or retains hold of a vehicle, person or thing in contravention of this section shall be guilty of an offence under this section and shall on summary conviction thereof be liable to a fine not exceeding two pounds.
