Regulation 121 Article 3 (interpretation)
(1) In article 3 (interpretation) paragraph (1) is amended as set out in paragraphs (2) to (13).
(2) Omit the definitions of -
"EEA AIFM" [This definition was inserted by S.I. 2013/1773.],
"credit institution" [This definition was inserted by S.I. 2006/3384 and was amended by S.I. 2013/3115 and 2017/488.],
"investment services and activities" [This definition was substituted by S.I. 2012/1906 and was amended by S.I. 2017/488.],
"UCITS" [This definition was inserted by S.I. 2013/1773.], and
"UK AIF" [This definition was inserted by S.I. 2013/1773.].
(3) In the definition of "contract of insurance" [This definition was amended by S.I. 2015/575.], for paragraph (f) substitute -
"(f) contracts relating to the length of human life that are regulated by or under any enactment relating to social security, in so far as they are effected or carried out at their own risk by undertakings with permission to effect or carry out contracts of long-term insurance as principals;".
