Regulation 77 Notification to the Commission of authorisations and acquisitions of undertakings governed by the laws of a third country.

(1) The Bank shall notify the Commission:

(a) of any authorisation of a subsidiary, one or more parent undertakings of which are governed by the laws of a third country;

(b) whenever such a parent undertaking acquires a holding in a European Communities insurance undertaking which is authorised by the Bank such that the latter would become a subsidiary of the former.

(2) When authorisation is granted to the subsidiary of one or more parent undertakings governed by the law of third countries, the structure of the group shall be specified in the notification which the Bank shall address to the Commission.
