Regulation 297 Registration in public register

(1) The registrar of companies shall, if requested by the administrator or liquidator of an insurance undertaking authorised in a Member State other than the State, or by any other authority duly empowered in that other State, register under the Act of 2014 any reorganisation measure or the decision to commence winding-up proceedings concerning the insurance undertaking and capable of being registered under that Act.

(2) The administrator or liquidator of an insurance undertaking shall, if so required by the law of a Member State other than the State, take all the measures necessary to register a reorganisation measure or the decision to open winding-up proceedings in any public register kept in that other Member State.

(3) The costs of the registration referred to in paragraphs (1) and (2) shall be regarded as costs and expenses incurred in the reorganisation or windingup proceedings.
