Article 179 Cancellation of registration of society
(1) In section 16(1) of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965 [Section 16 was amended by S.I. 1996/1738 and by S.I. 2001/2617, Schedule 3, paragraph 218 (in addition to the amendment revoked by this article).] (cancellation of registration of society), the words "by writing under his hand or seal or, in Scotland" are repealed.
(2) In the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Mutual Societies) Order 2001 [S.I. 2001/2617.], paragraph 218(a) of Schedule 3 is revoked.
