Article 361 Meaning of "financial institution"
(1) Paragraph 6 of Schedule 6 to the Terrorism Act 2000 (financial information) is amended as follows.
(2) In sub-paragraph (1) [Sub-paragraph (1) was amended by S.I. 2000/2952.] -
(a) for paragraph (a) substitute -
"(a) a person who has permission under Part 4 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 to accept deposits,";
(b) paragraph (b) is repealed; and
(c) for paragraph (d) substitute -
"(d) a person carrying on a relevant regulated activity,".
(3) After sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 6 insert -
"(1A) For the purposes of sub-paragraph (1)(d), a relevant regulated activity means -
(a) dealing in investments as principal or as agent,
(b) arranging deals in investments,
(c) managing investments,
(d) safeguarding and administering investments,
