Article 320 Law applicable to a contract of insurance
In section 2 of the Contracts (Applicable Law) Act 1990 (conventions to have force of law), for subsection (1A) [Subsection (1A) was inserted by S.I. 1993/174, regulation 9, and substituted by S.I. 1993/2519, regulation 6(5). ] substitute -
"(1A) The internal law for the purposes of Article 1(3) of the Rome Convention is the provisions of the regulations for the time being in force under section 424(3) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.".
